Kari Anne Moe


Director Kari Anne Moe (born 1976) from Sandefjord was educated as a director at the Film and Television Avademy’s documentary directing program, and in the documentary direction program at Volda College. Bravehearts is her third documentary as director, and the first to be distributed in theaters. She wrote the screenplay for the film.

She was previously known for Selger 329 (Salesman 329), about the Oslo salesman Knut Olav Brurud-Johannessen. Moe herself was also an active youth party member, as head of the Socialist Youth and Youth Against EU parties. For the last few years she has worked as producer and director for the documentary film company Sant og Usant.
